Nissan Motorsports continued its winning ways, showcasing the efforts of its top-flight Titan and Frontier race teams to record daily crowds of 10,000-plus at Rounds 7 through 9 of the Lucas Oil World Series of Off-Road Racing (WSORR) closed-course off-road racing event August 10-12, at the Bark River International Raceway in Bark River, Mich.

In the three rounds of competition, Carl Renezeder took first place in Friday's Round 7 and a second place in Saturday's Round 8 in his PRO 2WD Nissan Titan-bodied race truck, and a second place in Saturday's Round 8 and third place in Sunday's Round 9 in PRO 4x4 in his new four-wheel drive Titan-bodied race truck. This makes six podium finishes in seven starts for the new Nissan Motorsports 4x4 racing machine. Chad Hord, from nearby Felch, Mich. and his new-for-2007 310-horsepower PRO Light Pickup Nissan Frontier-bodied race truck took a win in Round 7 and third place in Round 8 to climb on top of the class drivers' championship standings.

Success also continued for another Nissan Frontier race truck pilot in the PRO Light Pickup class - Art Schmidt scored two second-place finishes on Friday and Saturday.

"The positive results garnered from a tough weekend of competition are a testament to the strength of our teams, drivers and powerful Nissan race trucks," said Nissan Motorsports Marketing and Operations Senior Manager Ron Stukenberg. "Carl, Chad and Art all deserve kudos for their excellent work, and thanks to their efforts, Nissan Motorsports is well on our way to championships in three classes of racing this year!"
