	With five French Rally Championship titles, three vice-champion titles and one of European Champion, Yves Loubet can be proud of his career record. Having started in 1978, he built up a number of successes until his superb win in Group A in the mythical Monte Carlo event. Having come to the attention of Cesare Fiorio, he continued his career on the other side of the Alps, behind the wheel of the official Lancia cars. After a magnificent career in both asphalt and gravel rallies, this incisive and determined driver moved to Rally Raids in 2002. Although he has only competed in six events so far, he has already claimed two Production category wins and one overall victory in the last Rally of the Pharaohs, with a Nissan Pickup. This passionate sportsman, who cycles, rides motorbikes and jet-skis (winning the 1996 Tour of Corsica on a jet-ski), he also enjoys ‘calmer’ activities … Being lucky enough to live in Corsica, he heads for the sea whenever he can, exploring the depths.
