This racing car was constructed to compete at the pinnacle of Japan’s touring car scene, the GT500 class in SUPER GT. The base car is the new NISSAN GT-R unveiled at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show. From its first outing it showed overpowering speed and ended up clinching 7 victories from 9 races and the series’ championship title in 2008.

A racing car using the Fairlady Z as its base which participated in the GT300 class of SUPER GT in 2008, winning both the Driver’s and Team titles.

This car races in the March Cup, a class run as an introduction to auto racing. The car is also used at the Nissan Racing Schools, which are held in various locations around Japan with the aim of giving as many customers as possible the opportunity to experience the excitement of driving a race-tuned machine.

Navara: South African Off-Road Championship

A pickup truck made for export, popular in places like South America, Europe and Thailand. Nissan South Africa has converted these into specialized off-road racing vehicles, which it enters into the South African Off-Road Championship. This car’s 4th and 5th place finish in the 2009 Dakar Rally in Argentina and Chile has also drawn a lot of attention.

A racing car which, to take part in the production car race series, simply uses a mass-produced car to which safety equipment such as a roll cage, fire extinguishers and circuit breakers are fitted. Being pretty much a stock factory model, results largely depend on the performance the base car can deliver.
