"GT Academy" is comprised of three stages, with the top two drivers being selected at the end. We seek to train professional drivers.

¦Stage 1:
The first round of GT Academy was held in June and July. It was a Gran Turismo 5 Prologue™ tournament held on the Playstation® Network.

¦Stage 2: Championship Rounds for Each Country - July 2008
The 20 top drivers from each of the 11 countries moved on to their domestic championships and competed directly in Gran Turismo 5 Prologue™. The top 3 drivers from each country were then allowed to move on to Stage 3.

¦Stage 3: GT Academy held at Silverstone Circuit - 2008, August 27th - 31st
From the virtual world to a real racetrack. The top 3 drivers from each country gathered at England's famous Silverstone Circuit to participate in GT Academy where they would learn real driving skills on an actual racetrack. Participants not only showed off their driving skills in a Nissan GT-R but also had to display physical and mental ability through a variety of tests. The top two drivers from Silverstone were selected for a 4-month training programme to acquire racing licenses, and were given a chance to enter a 24-hour endurance race in Dubai(Dubai 24H) in January of 2009 in a race-prepared Nissan 350 Z.
