As the practice sessions scheduled for the 20th and 21st had to be cancelled, the amount of drive time for official vehicle testing was reduced; therefore each team drove with intensity.
  • Title #3
    3/10
At the event, running the third of the Dongfeng Nissan Ghia Sports teams' Tiidas was rookie Xie Xinzhe. Despite being a rookie, his timing in the attack run during qualifying was well thought out, and he was able to gain 6th place, tops among the Tiida runners.
  • Title #4
    4/10
Guo Haisheng also upped his pace in order to aim for first place in qualifying, but in the attack lap, his pace dropped due to his driving line being blocked by another vehicle. He ended up taking 11th place. Lin Lifeng took 14th. As the time difference from 4th to 14th places in qualifying was less than one second, it most certainly must have been a vexing result for those drivers.

The weather on race day was cloudy. With dry conditions, the race started at 1.33pm. On the 4th corner of the opening lap, two vehicles directly in front of Guo and Lin collided. The race continued in a deadlock for some time, but mid-way through on lap 10, 2 cars from the second group collided and retired. Due to this, all 3 Tiidas improved their positions.

Guo, who had improved his position to 7th after a tenacious run, finished in the same position.
