Only the FCJ106, a machine designed especially for FCJ with a carbon monocoque frame, used in FCJ. The engines are Renault-based, with tweaks specific to FCJ, and NISMO providing maintenance support. Tyres used in the series are made by Dunlop. The car is of a modern style, with chimney outlets (the chimney-shaped duct normally located on the side) installed in the cowl.
