Profiles of the Nissan-affiliated teams and an introduction to their drivers

Masahiko Kondo, a man known for a variety of things including race team ownership, his participation in both marathons and triathlons, as well as his proactive environmental work, will command this year's team. 2010 will be a period of growth for young driver Yasuda who is looked upon to bring speed to the outfit. They have their eyes set on capturing their first title together with YOKOHAMA tyres.

The Brazilian has been KONDO RACING’s ace driver for five years this season. This year he’ll be the driving force of the team, bringing along his younger teammate. His goal is to take two or more victories in a season and clench the championship. He will also make a comeback in Formula Nippon and we expect it to be quite a fulfilling year for him.

As an NDDP (Nissan Driver Development Program) driver, he took part in FCJ (Formula Challenge Japan) in 2006, taking the most wins of any driver. In 2008 he won the GT300 Driver’s championship, showing great growth as a driver, before advancing to the GT500 class in 2009. This year he changes teams, and is devoting himself to GT racing with a newfound momentum this year.
